Birmingham Ability Counts League Kicks Off the New Season!
With the World Cup a distant memory, staff at Shelforce are gearing themselves up for the new season of the Birmingham Ability Counts League. Kicking off in a few weeks, the League will welcome players with various disabilities back to play at their training ground, the Aston Villa Academy. Having secured funding from Thomas Vale and its supply chain members earlier this year, the League is now developing at a fast rate, allowing more people to get involved.
The new season will also see the exciting launch of a new team aimed at children and young people. Giving children with disability the opportunity to play football, interact with team members and build a support network that positively impacts both the player and their family, the new team will be a great way to ensure the league benefits more people each year.
With many a football fan in the Shelforce team, this news has been highly praised by all involved and we look forward to an exciting year ahead for the League.
