Shelforce Achieves ISO 14001 Accreditation
As a business dedicated to establishing and developing key sustainability strategies, Shelforce is proud to announce its latest accreditation, ISO 14001.
Recognised internationally, the ISO 14001 BSI standard addresses how companies can reduce the environmental impact of their working practices without compromising on profitability. By identifying areas for environmental improvement, businesses with this accreditation must implement an effective Environmental Management System inline with BSI guidance.
Measured through a process of review and assessment, organisations working towards this accreditation must meet a stringent set of assessment criteria before certification is achieved.
Speaking of the accreditation, Tony Griffiths, I.T. & Systems Manager, said:
'Sustainability is at the very heart of Shelforce's business values and we are delighted to have achieved this important and widely recognised accreditation. We are already looking at how we can continue to improve the practices we have in place for the years ahead.'
