Shelforce has achieved BSi accreditation for the factory operation in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 and Kitemark licensing to BS 7412, enhanced security BS 7950/7412 (windows) and PAS023/PAS024 (doors). Shelforce also holds the Secured by Design licence for its windows and doors.

Windows

The Shelforce range of windows are manufactured from white PVCu profile and have a reinforced and welded construction, offering a long life product that conforms to all current legislative requirements.

The internally glazed and beaded construction along with the twin-cam locking mechanisms offers high security whilst the chamfered design of the profile is aesthetically pleasing.

The range offers several glazing and ventilation options to achieve a wide range of energy ratings under the window energy rating system

Doors

The Shelforce Composite Door is an ideal solution for front entrances to properties as it is produced in a wide range of colours and designs. This not only looks elegant but also provides stability and full security to suit both the tenant and the provider.

Threshold options give choices for users, including the Part M low threshold to give improved access to wheelchair users.

Shelforce’s standard PVCu door can be used for front entrance doors but is particularly suitable for rear entrance solutions where provision of light is a requisite.

Pivot Windows

Often used in high rise applications, pivot window systems offer excellent security and high weather performance. The large maximum sizes available also allows for replacement of like with like.

Using multipoint ‘perimeter’ gearing, pivot windows open inwards which reduces maintenance costs as cleaning can be done from the inside. These window systems also have restricted openings which ensures child safety in high rise buildings.

Curtain-Walling

Offering an ideal solution for public sector refurbishments and new build markets, curtain walling provides a versatile and efficient approach to meeting modern day building regulations.

Combining the use of aluminium and PVC-U components, the installation of curtain walling offers both an aesthetically pleasing and low maintenance option for large scale buildings as well as ensuring high levels of thermal efficiency.
