Environmental
Renewable Technology
Shelforce has recycled for many years, with PVCu traditionally recycled into other products such as drainpipes, guttering etc.
ISO 14001 Environmental Standard
Shelforce has been accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance System and it’s predecessors since 1994 and also the Kitemark licences, appropriate to the manufacture of windows and doors.
Shelforce keenly pursue the principles of environmental responsibility, are accredited to the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard and have embedded its core philosophy into their working methods and processes.
Energy Efficient Products
Shelforce is committed to saving energy and in turn reducing the release of carbon into the atmosphere. They comply with current building regulations, – for example Part L, which calls for the application of ‘U’ value limits or Window Energy Rating to new and replacement windows for all dwellings.
The Window Energy Rating System is displayed to the customer through a series of coloured bands giving ratings of A to G, customers can then select their preferred level of energy performance

The PVCu window industry has for many years offered 10 year guarantees. However, the current life expectancy of the windows and doors is approximately 20 years.
